About the Role

Establishes and maintains a strong understanding of how the client’s chemicals and services support refinery processes. Understands an employee’s sales techniques and sales model.
Collaborates with leadership to establish and refine sales strategy and sets goals for assigned territory and/or accounts. Uses knowledge of upcoming customers events to design a sales and marketing plan for assigned area. Directs the implementation and execution of sales plans. Ensures communications are coordinated within the organization.
Preferentially targets key customers to maintain short-term revenue while fostering long term relationships. Establishes contact, nurtures, and maintains good personal relationships with client base. Writes proposals and closes sale. Achieves annual sales targets based on measurable goals. Projects quarterly sales. Input daily sales activity into SalesForce.com
Track and report goal completion and variances quarterly. Reports to VP of International Technical Sales Manager on new and future jobs. Gathers and communicates customers feedback to ensure customer concerns are addressed. Works within a team environment for continual process improvement. This includes sharing ideas to improve sales, sharing leads internally, and taking an active role in developing marketing strategy and sales improvements initiatives. Communicates openly, honestly, and constructively.
Leads in the execution of corporate strategy in both a positional and peer capacity. Positively contributes to the establishment and supports the execution of company change initiatives. Champions initiatives with a strong understanding of the underlying goal and positive communications. Contributes positively to the establishment of company improvements.
Perform other duties assigned by management.

Education and Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering
Active TWIC, Valid Driver’s License and Passport
Minimum of five (5) or more years of refining/ industrial sales experience including basic knowledge of refinery operations and equipment.
Bilingual- Must be fluent Japanese and English.
Knowledge of refinery turnaround planning, execution, and scheduling.
Experience selling industrial services and developing customer relationships.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in the use and application of the following software: Microsoft Office Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Must be willing and available to travel out of town up to 60% of the time.
